13 Ghosts

Remember that HBO series TALES FROM THE CRYPT? Well I sure do those were some of the coolest and spookiest stories out there. Anyway Warner Bros. decided to let the producers of that series, Joel Silver, Gilbert Adler and Robert Zemeckis play with a much bigger budget under the moniker Dark Castle reinvisioning the classic William Castle film, THIRTEEN GHOSTS.

Behind this scary tale is director Steve Beck about a family that inherits a unique home made of glass; here is the catch, if they want to keep the dwelling they must solve the riddle of the ancient home that also has imprisoned within the walls a group of very angry ghosts! Running for their lives at the premiere was rubber faced Matthew Lillard, bombshell Shannon Elizabeth and rapper turned thespian Rah Digga. Joining this merry band of miscreants were other well known ghoules such as Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed, Christa Campbell, Catherine Bell, Jenna Lewis, Dana Daurey, Shaune Bagwell, Priscilla Taylor, Sean Kanan and Angelica Bridges.
