The long awaited adaptation of Stanley Kubrick story by modern visionary Steven Speilberg has finally made it to the big screen courtesy of Warner Bros. Although the world premiere was held in New York 2 days previous, Los Angeles still made the film's star Haley Joel Osment feel right at home. Joining the acting protégé were cast members Frances O'Connor, Jake Thomas, Ashley Scott, FX wizard Stan Winston and a whole slew of Hollywood notables such as Cary Elwes, Sharon Stone, Neal McDonough, Reese Witherspoon, Alessandro Nivola, Mae Whitman, Jennifer Tilly, Milla Jovovich, Embeth Davidtz, Melissa Ethridge, Martin Landau, Ice Cube, Marc Blucas, Chris Carter, Nicholas Gonzales, Javier Bardem, Fran Drescher, Garcelle Beauvais and Brendan Fraser.

This story takes place in the not too distant future where machines have become intelligent and Adam (Osment) becomes the first robot boy capable of love. He is placed inside the bossom of a family in an attempt to co-exist and ultimately is rejected by both the humans and machines leaving him to find a new path for acceptance...
