Biography: Tim Allen was born 6/12/53 in Denver, Colorado. He got his start in stand up comedy, with his act "Men Are Pigs". His television career took off when the Walt Disney Studios chairman saw his act and wanted to cast him in a new TV series, "Home Improvement." While on the show, Allen also took on roles in film, including his first feature film in 94', "The Santa Clause". The following year, he also took on another successful role as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story. His career continued to blossom from there taking on roles in "For Richer or Poorer, Jungle2Jungle, and more recently Toy Story 2 and Galaxy Quest".
