Thora Birch Biography: Born on 3/11/1982 in Los Angeles, California, she was named after the Norse god of thunder. After appearing in a few television commercials, Thora was cast in the short-lived television series Day By Day. Her big break came in the movie "Paradise", and since then she has appeared in such movies as "Patriot Games, Hocus Pocus, Clear and Present Danger, Monkey Trouble, and American Beauty".
