Kate Capshaw Actress; born on11/3/53, in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to becoming an actress, Capshaw worked as a teacher. Her early acting credits include a role on the soap opera Edge of Night. In 1991, Capshaw married director Steven Spielberg, whom she met when she auditioned for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984 Some of her other film roles include: Windy City (1984), SpaceCamp (1986), Black Rain (1989), How to Make an American Quilt (1995), and The Locusts (1997).
