Biography: Richard Chamberlain was born on 3/31/1934 in Beverly Hills, California. He was given occasional roles on show like "Gunsmoke, The Bobsy Twins, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents". MGM studios gave the title role to the show "Dr. Kildare" to Chamberlain and the show became a sensation.  Chamberlain can also be found in the movie "Shogun".
