Biography: John Cleese was born on 10/27/1939 in Weston-Super-Mare, England. In the late 60's and early 70's, Cleese was a member of the "Monty Python" cast. He left after 3 seasons to go on his own. After Monty Python, he was in the successful comedy series "Fawlty Towers". Later on he would have a role in the commercially successful film "A Fish Called Wanda".
