Trivia: One of Billy's first breakthroughs came when he was still a part-time comic and school-teacher, and was called on as a last-minute replacement for 'Robert Klein' to entertain at a roast for 'Muhammad Ali'. His dead-on imitation of Ali, as well as of Howard Cosell, knocked out the V.I.P. crowd. Ali hugged him and promised from then on he would consider Crystal "my little brother."

Was cast as Rob Reiner's best friend the 1976 "All in the Family" episode "New Year's Wedding" and became his best friend in real life.

One of Billy Crystal's babysitters was Billie Holiday.

Quote: "In high school, I was the class comedian as opposed to the class clown. The difference is, the class clown is the guy who drops his pants at the football game, the class comedian is the guy who talked him into it."
