Laura Dern Biography: Laura Dern was born 2/10/1967 in Los Angeles,
California and grew up on the sets of her of her parent's films. After trying
college, one day at UCLA and one semester at USC, she decided on acting. Most know for roles in "Jurassic Park or October Sky", but the independent film
industry holds high regard for her, giving her the 1999 Piper-Heidsieck Award for Independent Vision.
