Cameron Diaz Biography: Cameron Diaz was born 8/30/1972 in San Diego, California. After leaving home at 16, she toured the world for 5 years, returning to California at the age of 21. After auditioning for a minor part in "The Mask", she was shocked to find herself cast as the leading actress. In 1998, she starred in the smash hit "There's Something About Mary."
