Barbara Eden Biography: Barbara Eden was born on 8/23/1934 in Tucson, Arizona. Before focusing on a TV career, she took on her first film role in '56 with a small part in "Back from Eternity". In '57, she starred in her first TV series, "How to Marry a Millionaire". In '65 she gained her most popular role as "Jeanie" in "I Dream of Jeannie." The show had a very successful 5-year run from '65 to '70. After the series she went on to appear in such films as " The Stranger Within", "Harper Valley P.T.A.", and "The Girls in the Office." The 80's brought such roles in "Chattanooga Choo Choo" and in "The Stepford Children."
