Biography: Chow Yun-Fat was born on 5/18/1955 in Hong Kong, Lamma Island. In 74 Yun-Fat joined the Hong Kong television station TVB and was soon starring in several sitcoms, dramas, and soap-operas. In 85 Yun-Fat was cast in the John Woo's Blockbuster film "A Better Tomorrow". Chow has since crossed the Pacific and has become a bona fide American star with such movies as "The Replacement Killers and Anna and the King".
