Sally Field Biography: Sally Field grew up in California's San Fernando Valley, California. By the 7th grade Fields decided to be an actress. Her first appearance was in the TV series "Gidget", but it wasn't until the TV movie "Sybil" in 76' that Fields was noticed for her dramatic acting ability. Sally Fields had a very broad and successful acting career, but is now better known for her more recent roles in Mrs. Doubtfire and Forrest Gump.
