Carrie Fisher Biography: Carrie Fisher was born 10/21/1956 in Los Angeles, California. By age 17 Fisher had drooped out of school to work in Broadway. Her debut film was "Shampoo", but her real claim to fame is her role as "Princess Leia in Star Wars". This made her an instant celebrity. As of recent she has written three books, played a role in "Scream 3", and is one of the highest-paid script doctors in Hollywood.
