Peri Gilpin Biography: Peri Gilpin was born 5/27/1961, in Waco, Texas. She studied acting at a number of schools, including Dallas Theater Center, University of Texas, and London's British-American Academy. She played a number of guest roles in series such as "21 Jump Street" and "Matlock", before landing her part as Irene on "Flesh 'n' Blood" in '91. Two years later, she landed her largest role as Rozalind 'Roz' Doyle on the hit series "Frasier." She has also done such projects as "Hercules", "The Lionhearts", and "Spring Forward." Interestingly enough, she has also taken a voice role in "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within."
