Biography: Jessalyn Gilsig was born in Montreal, Canada. She got her training at the American Repertory Theatre's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University. She had her first part in '89, in"Jacknife," but it wasn't until '98 that she began doing the majority of her work. She made a small appearance in "Viper" before taking on the role of Lucy in '98's "The Horse Whisperer." In '99 she had roles in such films and series as "A Cooler Climate," "The Practice", and "Seven Days." She has been seen recently, "Boston Public."
