Biography: Cuba Gooding Jr. was born on 1/2/1968 in the Bronx but grew up in L.A. After trying his hand at break-dancing, Cuba decided to try acting and received a bit part on the television series "Hill Street Blues." However, his big break came after starring in the film "Boyz N the Hood" and from there he starred in such movies as "A Few Good Men," "Gladiator," and "Judgment Night." In the mid nineties Cuba saw his career begin to falter, but it would soon be revived by breakout performances in the movies "Outbreak" and "Jerry Maguire." From there Gooding appeared in such movies as "As Good As It Gets," "What Dreams May Come," and
"Chill Factor."
