Biography: Pam Grier was born 5/26/49, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She made her debut in 70 with a small part in "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls," but got her real start in '71's "The Big Doll House." During the 70's, Grier became known as the queen of blaxploitation appearing in such films as "Coffy," "Foxy Brown," and "Sheba Baby." After the blaxploitation genre faded, she moved on to character acting, making amazing performances in such films as "Fort Apache, the Bronx," "Something Wicked This Way Comes", and "Above the Law." During the 90's Grier appeared in such films as "Class of 1999," "Jackie Brown," and
"Jawbreaker." Some of her most recent work includes "Snow Day," "Wilder," "3 A.M.."
