Biography: Ioan Gruffudd was born on 10/6/1973 in Cardiff, Wales and began his acting career as a child star in the Welsh soap opera "Pobol Y Cwm." He attended the prestigious Royal Academy of the Dramatic Arts in London in 92 and starred in a number of plays and movies immediately after graduation. However it was his role in the blockbuster movie "Titanic" that made him an international celebrity, and since "Titanic" Ioan has starred in a number of television dramas along with the movie "102 Dalmations."
