Biography: Born on 7/23/1961 in Midland, Texas, Woody Harrelson got his big acting break as Woody the bartender on the hit sitcom "Cheers." His role on this show garnered him five Emmy nominations and after leaving the show his movie career took off with the film "White Men Can't Jump." From there Harrelson starred in such hit movies as "Indecent Proposal," "Natural Born Killers," and "The People vs. Larry Flynt." However, sprinkled among those hits were flops such as "Kingpin," "Money Train," and "Play it to the Bone."
