Kate Hudson Biography: Kate Hudson was born 4/19/1979 in Los Angeles, California. Kate grew up with acting with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as parents, but it wasn't until Kurt Russell encouraged her to audition that Kate began acting. Her professional debut came with her one-episode character on "Party of Five". Her real break came with her role on the film "200 cigarettes", co-starring with many young Hollywood stars. Her latest role was in "Almost Famous".
