Biography: Laura Innes was born 8/16/1959 in Pontiac, Michigan. Her first appearance came in 78 in "The Fury" but it wasn't until much later that Innes started seriously acting. by 1990, she was making guest appearances on Wings and by 94' she was making guest appearances on "ER." Eventually she became a recurring character and has achieved star status on the show today. She has even directed a few of the episodes. As of recent, she played Beth Stanley in "Deep Impact" in 98' and still plays Dr. Kerry Weaver on "ER."
