Biography: Actor Jeremy Irons was born on 9/19/1948 in Cowes, England, U.K., and was a classically trained actor before getting his big break on the BBC mini-series "Brideshead Revisited." In 81 Irons starred in the film "The French Lieutenant's Woman". Irons continued to star in high-class movies throughout the 80's such as "Reversal of Fortune" and "Dead Ringers," and the 90's saw him continue his streak with such hits as "Die Hard With a Vengeance," and "Lolita."
