Biography: Jennifer Jason Leigh was born 2/5/1962 in Hollywood, California. Her first appearance was in '78 in the TV movie "The Young Runaways". Her first notable appearance was in 82's hit comedy "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". Some of her other 80's movies included "The Big Picture and The Hitcher". In the late 80's, she achieved critical acclaim for "Last Exit to Brooklyn and Miami Blues". The later 90's brought on the height of her career with such films as "Short Cuts, The Hudsucker Proxy, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, Washington Square, Georgia, and eXistenZ".
