Biography: Samantha Mathis was born May 12th, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York. She began acting at age 16 playing the role of Roseanne Miller in the 1988 TV series "Aaron's Way". She made her film debut in "Forbidden Sun" in '89, but it wouldn't be until the next year, in "Pump Up the Volume", that she would gain recognition. After the '90 film, she went on to star in numerous big screen productions, two of the larger ones being "Broken Arrow" and the more recent "American Psycho".
