Biography: Eddie Murphy was born on 4/3/1961 in Brooklyn, New York. His popularity began to soar when he joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 80. His characters were popular for the audiences. He went on to the  big screen as he starred in the two "48 Hour" films, "Coming To America", the "Beverly Hills Cop" series, "Dr. Dolittle" and the "Nutty Professor".
