Biography: Actor/comedian Bill Murray was born on 9/21/1950 in Wilmette, Illinois and worked at various manual jobs before joining Chicago's famed Second City improv group. From there he went on to sign with "Saturday Night Live" in 77 and his star shot into the stratosphere. Some of his more critically acclaimed movies include "Stripes," "Caddy Shack," "Groundhog's Day," "What About Bob," and "Rushmore."
