Biography: Chris Noth was born on 11/13/1954 in Madison, Wisconsin. His first appearance came in the film "Offbeat". He has also had small roles in "Smithereens" and "Baby Boom". He became best known for playing an NYPD cop in the hit NBC show "Law And Order" from 1990-1995. He has also played in an on and off again role on the HBO show "Sex And The City".
