Amanda Peet Biography: Born on 1/11/1972 in New York City, Amanda Peet began acting classes at age 8 when she was living in London. Upon returning to the big apple, Peet landed a string of acting gigs including a "Skittles" commercial and bit parts on "Seinfeld, Spin City, Law and Order, and Central Park West". In 96 got her silver screen debut in "One Fine Day". Peet's claim to fame, though, came when she began starring in the popular television series "Jack and Jill". Since then, Peet has had large roles in movies such as "The Whole Nine Yards, and Whipped".
