Biography: Christopher Reeve was born on 9/25/52, in New York City. He got his big break in 78 when he was given the role of "Superman" for the first of the 4 films he would make as the character. Other films like "The Bostonians" and "Somewhere In Time" would follow. In 95 while doing something he loved to do, horseback riding, tragedy struck. He was thrown from his horse, which resulted in Reeve breaking his neck. Quick medical attention saved his life. He is now paralyzed from the neck down. Ever since he has fought bravely with therapy and being a strong advocate about paralysis.
