Molly was born on the 18th of February, in 1968, in Roseville California. At the age of five she was in a stage production of "Alice in Wonderland". She also managed to land herself a place on TV's "New Mickey Mouse Club" at the age of eight. After other small acting bits Molly soon teamed up with Director John Hughes in the smash hit "Sixteen Candles". Her success was to continue with "The Breakfast Club", next was "Pretty in Pink". She went on to star in several other movies and later she would star in her first Sitcom "Townies".
