Kurt Russell Biography: Born on 3/17/51 in Springfield Massachusetts, Kurt Russell had a short stint as a professional baseball player before an injury sidelined him and he began to pursue acting. After appearing in movies such as "Escape From New York", "Silkwood", and "The Mean Season", Probably Russell's greatest success has been 88's "Tequila Sunrise" but since then he has had a number of other hits including "Tombstone", "Stargate", "Executive Decision", "Escape from L.A.", "Breakdown", and "Soldier".
