Biography: Laura San Giacomo was born 11/14/1962 in West Orange, New Jersey. After earning a fine arts degree at Carnegie-Mellon University, she made her debut playing a guest spot in '87 on "Spenser: For Hire." She made her first film appearence in '89 as Cynthia Patrice Bishop in "Sex, Lies, and Videotape". In 90 she got a big break, getting a role in "Pretty Woman", one of the most popular films of the 90's. She continued to get a number of good roles through out the 90's, including roles in "Under Suspicion", "The Stand", and "Suicide Kings." As of recent, most of San Giacomo's time is dedicated to her role as Maya Gallo on the series "Just Shoot Me."
