Biography: Molly Shannon was born 9/16/64 in Shaker Heights, Ohio. After auditioning for several parts, Shannon got her first role in "The Phantom of the Opera". Over the next few years she had made several guest appearances but her big break came in 1994. In 94' Shannon was cast in "Saturday Night Live", the show that made her famous. While still on the show, Shannon began appearing in a great deal of movies including "A Night at the Roxbury, Never Been Kissed, and Analyze This". One of Shannon most recent efforts has been her own movie "Superstar", a spinoff of her SNL character.
