Biography: Gary Sinise was born on3/17/1955 in Blue Island, Illinois. In 92 he made his acting debut in the film "A Midnight Clear". Also in 92, Sinise starred and producer the film "Of Mice And Men". In 94 he got his big role, the memorable part of Lt. Dan Taylor in "Forrest Gump". He received an Academy Award nomination. In 1995 he received a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV movie for his portrayal of "Harry Truman".
