Will Smith Biography: Television, movie, and music star Will Smith began his rap career in the mid 80s under the name Fresh Prince. In 1990 he starred in NBC's new sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", and its success allowed Will to launch a movie career. The movies "Bad Boys", "Independence Day", and "Men in Black" shattered box office records, and Will quickly gained recognition as a true Hollywood force. In 97 Will released the album "Big Willie Style" which went multi-platinum as did 1999's "Willenium". 2001 the filming of "Men in Black 2", has begun.
