Dallas, Texas in 1968. While in college at the University Of Texas, he met Wes Anderson in a scripting class and they would end up writing
the movie "Bottle Rocket" together. The film became popular at the movie festivals. They followed that film up with "Rushmore" with co-star Bill Murray. Soon after he was in the film "Anaconda",
the blockbuster "Armageddon", and "The Haunting". He also had a small role in the 2000 film "Meet The Parents".
