A Beautiful Mind

This is the time of the year that studios roll out their Oscar contenders and Universal Pictures is no exception with the real life story of mathematician John Nash played with zeal by Aussie Oscar winner Russell Crowe. Making the grade representing the film were cast members Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Adam Goldberg, Anthony Rapp, Ed Harris, Vivien Cardone, director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer. Showing up for extra credit were Hollywood V.I.Ps including Marc Blucas, Matthew Blucas, Gary Sinese, Amy Madigan, Josh Brolin, James Marsden, Marion Ross, Adam Duritz, Oded Fehr, Paul Sorvino, Rachel Griffiths, Ralph Mueller and Rance Howard.

John Forbes Nash's biopic told by director Ron Howard shows the meteoric rise of the brilliant math prodigy and his struggle with paranoid schizophrenia. After his life struggle he was awarded the Noble Peace Prize in 1994.
