August 14, 2001, Mann's Chinese Theater, Hollywood, CA.

In honor of the release of the World War 2 romantic drama, Hollywood took the time to honor a well known and respected actor, Nicolas Cage. With honorary Mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant presiding Nicolas Cage continued a Hollywood tradition started by Sid Grauman by placing his hands and feet in wet cement. The date and signature made the whole thing official and ended the ceremony by posing with guests John Madden, Jim Carrey, Jay Leno and his new squeeze Lisa Marie Presley.
