IN STORE APPEARANCE BY THE CAST OF ABC'S ALIAS TO PROMOTE "ALIAS:DECLASSIFIED AND ALIAS:RECRUITED"

Fans of the ultra cool ABC spy drama ALIAS by Touchstone Television were given a special treat as they were given the chance to meet the cast including Sydney Bristow herself Jennifer Garner in the flesh! Thousands of fans congregated at the Barnes and Noble bookstore at The Grove just east of Fairfax in order to get their memorabilia signed and catch a quick glimpse of the stars of their favorite show. So then why all the hullabaloo? Bantam Books with ABC and Touchstone television decided to kick off the release of two new books, "Alias: Declassified" and "Alias:Recruited" with a special in-store appearance by both cast and creator to the delight of fans of the critically acclaimed show. Fans were also given as a gift red wigs immolating the secret agent from a favorite episode. Cheers rose as the cast came in from
behind close doors and kept at a roar once Jennifer Garner brought up the rear and addressed the masses along with creator J.J. Abrams. After a brief photo op the cast settled into their respective chairs and signed for the hungry group of adoring fanatics waiting for hours.
"Alias: Declassified" written by Mark Cotta Vaz is the official companion book to the hit television show. The full colored book gives readers behind the scenes looks as well as a detailed episode list. An extra added bonus includes a DVD that features cast interviews, screen savers and an on line game in the irst printing. "Alias: Recruited" from scribe Lynn Mason is a prequel novel which chronicles Sydney days at UCLA and her recruitment into SD-6 before turning into a double agent for the CIA.
