LOS ANGELES PREMIERE OF THE MATRIX RELOADED

MAY 7, 2003, THE MANN VILLAGE THEATER, WESTWOOD, CA.
The long anticipated sequel to the blockbuster hit The Matrix had its’ stellar Los Angeles premiere complete with a black carpet and porcelain statues. Representing the film were stars Laurence Fishburne, a very pregnant Carrie Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving newcomers Jada Pinkett Smith, Monica Bellucci, Nona Gaye, Collin Chou, Harold Perrineau, twins Adrian and Neil Rayment and the “One” himself Keanu Reeves. Opting to skip the press line were the press shy brother directors Andy and Larry Wachowski leaving producer Joel Silver the task of preaching the gospel of “The Matrix” to the media. Also on hand to be the firsts in town to revel in the experience were Hollywood heavy hitters such as Leslie Bibb, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Amber Valleta, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Tori Spelling, Maria Bello, Eric Close, Alyssa Milano, Andy
Richter, Sandra Bullock, Amanda Bynes, Wayne Brady, Tisha Campbell-Martin, Taraji Henson, Lucy Liu, Demi Moore, Will Smith, Fred Durst, Linkin Park and Rob Zombie.
Its’ years later and Neo has taken refuge as “The One” with disturbing images in his dreams of the fate of his love Trinity, meanwhile the last human city of Zion is about to be invaded by the burrowing machines. Before the Sentinels can destroy Zion, Neo has to once again answer the call from Morpheus to re enter The Matrix and thwart the plans of the architects of The Matrix and a returning a vengeful Agent Smith. Once inside The Matrix, Neo. Trinity and Morpheus face more deadly challenges and dangers including the mysterious twins and an agent Smith with the ability to duplicate himself at will...
