In closing, once again I would like to say that this particular movie was chosen only because the movie was so full of falsehoods that the truth had to come out. There is no motivation of any kind, or slander intended. I have not come close to providing all the information that's out there, only the main portions of it. You can find a much more extensive library of facts in the website links below. I still don't know why this wasn't common knowledge at the time of the movie, well, here in the Midwest anyway. I'm guessing because Variety and The Hollywood Reporter chose not to run the story of the "Real Hurricane" but instead push for Oscar votes. It's really too bad though, I really enjoyed the movie at the time. Now, I can't in good conscience even watch it. I've seen the evidence, read the reports, viewed the pictures, etc...and have come to my own conclusion about Rubin Carter. It's up to you to come up with your own opinion.
I want to sincerely thank Cal Deal and Lona Manning for their assistance and permission to use the material they have gathered over the years, they've both done a wonderful job.
