Jurassic Park III

Some people just never learn, I can imagine those were the words that went through the mind of Sam Neill's Dr. Alan Grant on the latest jaunt into the prehistoric island. Its' eight years since Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant has since been face to face with a dinosaur but without funds to continue his research on Velociraptor communication he reluctantly takes a charter from wealthy businessman Paul Kirby (William H. Macy) and his wife Amanda (Tea Leoni) to go over restricted Isla Sonra. Little does he know that the couple are really estranged and the true nature of the excursion is that of a rescue mission to find the couple's 14 year old son Eric (Trevor Morgan) stranded while parasailing with Amanda's current beau. After Grant's staunch disapproval over the team's decision to land on site B where InGen once stood the flight gets grounded by an over anxious Pteranadon forcing them to crash land. Once on the ground the excitement begins as the team try and survive while searching for the young Eric Kirby. Upon revisiting the resident Velociraptor, Grant discovers that the creatures have since evolved into an intelligent species. Another huge surprise for the team is the discovery of the dominant predator on the island a creature InGen had refused to divulge, the Spinosaurus which is much larger and more fierce than the T-Rex and hunts equally on land and in the water. Actress Laura Dern makes a cameo as Dr. Elie Sadler, Dr. Grant's love-interest from the first film. You can bet if this installment makes bucket loads of cash we will be meeting up with these hungry dinos again!
