Memento NOT included in the Golden Globes????? By Laura Alber This is quite an outrage, and as I read other websites, I find I am not alone in my assessment. Christopher Nolan has managed to take this Independent Movie and even without initial distribution, turn it into a huge box office hit. With all of the "mainstream" movies these days, Memento was quite refreshing. Although very elaborate in it's concept, one could not help but to watch every second of it. It definitely kept you on the edge of your seat...NEVER a dull moment! I am including one of the better reviews I've read about this film for those of you who haven't yet had the opportunity or distinct pleasure of viewing this movie. I highly recommend you put on your rental list, grab the popcorn and soda, and plan on not leaving your seat! I just hope the Academy and all of the other Award Nomination Committees realize that this film deserves to be nominated...actually, it deserves to win. I am very biased towards David Lynch, and Robert Altman, but I can't help but think that Memento should be 2001's Best Movie. Review: From SPLICEDwire.com By Bob Blackwelder
