Director Joe Roth the former head of Disney Studios, assembles an award wining cast for his Revolution Studios in association with Columbia Pictures. Heading up the cast and trotting down the red carpet was Academy Award winner Julia Roberts, Catherine Zeta Jones, John Cusack, Billy Crystal, Hank Azaria, Stanley Tucci, Seth Green and director Joe Roth. Joining this ensemble was soundtrack artist Kelly Levesque, songwriter Diane Warren, Jerry O'Connell, Patrick Dempsey, Thomas Jane, Jennifer Love Hewitt, David Paymer, Garcelle Beauvais, Nancy O'Dell, D.B Sweeney, Robert Davi, Jo Champa, Gabrielle Reese, Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler and Eddie Van Halen with Valerie Bertinelli.

Julia Roberts is Kiki Harrison, a personal assistant to a self centered, narcissistic movie star (Catherine Zeta Jones) that just so happens to be her sister, Gwen Harrison. Kiki's job becomes harder as she has to orchestrate the ultimate public relations stunt by reuniting her sister and her estranged husband actor Eddie Thomas (John Cusack) to promote their latest film. Meanwhile Gwen has fallen for hunky Latin actor Hector (Hank Azaria) while the film's director Hal Wiedmann (Christopher Walken) has taken the only print of the film with the concession that the film be shown to the press first. Not even studio boss Dave Kingman (Stanley Tucci) is invited to the junket, enter recently fired publicist Lee Phillips (Billy Crystal) that has to divert the attention of the press to the reunion of Gwen Harrison and Eddie Thomas. With the help of Kiki, Lee has to pull off the scam of Tinsletown while keeping his competition Danny Wax (Seth Green) at bay.
