Mike's "One Minute Review" of Cat in the Hat by Mike Feher

Storyline: Conrad and Sally Walden (Spencer Breslin and Dakota Fanning) are home alone with their pet fish. It is raining outside, and there is nothing to do. Until The Cat in the Hat ('Mike Myers') walks in the front door. He introduces them to their imagination, and at first it's all fun and games, until things get out of hand, and The Cat must go, go, go, before their parents get back.

What can I say. Seuss does it again. Since the beginning of my life I've been in love with Cat in the hat, Sam I am who loves green eggs and ham, Mr. Lorax the Walrus, the sneaky-weeky Grinch and all the rest of the the Seuss gang. They just fu**in'
warm my over-zealous heart.

Mike Myers is brilliant as always, as well as Dakota Fanning, and low and behold a newcomer on the scene, Spencer Breslin...screw that funny fat guy from Superbad, because Spencer is the new funny lil' fat kid in town and he dominates Alec Baldwin in this movie...

Who, by the way, is hilarious as the creepy neighbor trying to bull-shit his way into Kelly Preston's heart, her home, her life and none other than her pants (jk). But seriously, he is.

Really, words of a Seuss fan cannot describe the sheer genius of this movie. You have to see it to get all the nuances yourself. And, yeah.

Suffice it to say, one of my favorites.
