The Zone's Eye View:

I had the distinctive privilege of hearing a brand new CD from "Deep Space Nine" Chase Masterson. I must admit, I was never particularly a fan of 30's, 40's and 50's music, but I like to consider myself an eclectic person. One day while working on the computer, I popped the CD in. FULL STOP! I was completely blown away by what I was hearing. Chase has a voice that's both breathy and bold-talk about a sexy combination. Her renditions of the old classics were amazing. You could even picture Masterson dressed in a glamorous gown in a smoke-filled "Speakeasy". You are literally taken back in time to that era. 

The accompaniment was also quite an achievement. If you read the CD cover, you'll see that Chase produced the CD as well, including all the background instruments. 

Most actors/actresses turned singers just can't cut it, but I've got to admit, Chase has definitely turned me into a fan of this music. I guess that's why it's called, "Thrill of the Chase"! 

This is a MUST buy! Even if you don't "think" you're a fan of this type of music, take my word as a devout Alternative/Metal Head...you'll find this CD will come in very handy on those "special" nights...

This most definitely rates a 10 out of 10, and I don't easily give out 10's, but this is undoubtedly worth it!
